am Peter, one of the leaders
of Church @ Community, a
house church network in Bromsgrove, Worcestershire, in the heart
of the UK. For local news and events go here.
Convinced that simple/ organic/ emerging
church/ church in the house is Biblical I opened my
home and am keeping an update of weekly
experiences, advances, trials and growth.
I
was converted to Christ
in 1969 and attended an Assembly
of God church at a village called Mow
Cop, the historic centre of the Primitive
Methodist revival. (For more details see My
Brief Story).Receiving a call from God I entered Bible College
at Kenley,(now Mattersey
hall) in 1971, where I met my wife Margaret or Meg from South
Wales. We have served churches in Lincolnshire, Suffolk, the West
Midlands and Worcestershire and have also helped to plant new
churches. Our grown-up children , Rachel & Calvin are both
involved in God's work. (Our other son Wesley went to be with
the Lord in 1984 aged seven)
House2HouseUK
is the umbrella organisation
established to assist church planting movements
in the UK and worldwide. Working with any who love Jesus
and share the vision of Simple
Church I am able to offer Resources, provide some training
and support, and distribute House2House
magazine in the UK.
In
February 2005 we started the first Church
@ Community . Our mission is that the network will
grow according to Acts 1:8 reaching Worcestershire, The West Midlands,
Birmingham, Central England and other parts of the UK. Visit
